McCammon Engineering Corp., our family-owned and operated firm has become a leading provider of precision dip molding for rubber bellows to a wide variety of industries.
Because we have a stake in every part that leaves our premises, our customers rely on us to perform the precision dip molding of rubber bellows with unusual requirements and special features. For example, a customer asked us to manufacture a small bellow, complete with four convolutes. Not only is this bellow unusually small at 1.5″ long and .70″ wide, it also required both a rolled bead and a trimmed end.
We have close to 30 years of industry experience, and performed the precision dip molding as well as the bead rolling and pre-dry water bath/leach. We then followed up with curing, trimming and post-cure silicone tumbling as secondary processes. We also ensured the part, which is just .015″ thick, met tolerances of ± 0.005″.
